As a creative technologist with a penchant for calligraphic writing, I seek the form and function of design with the structural expression of drafting, just as I do in the formation of words and text at the edge of my pen (or quill).
After 20 years immersed in CADD and related core drafting experience across a number of industries, I find that the core principles of drafting and structural design also apply to my new-found love of calligraphy and that form of creative expression. Cursor, for me is pointing a finer line towards that professional and self expression and serves as a culmination of my experience that I offer to my clients.
Graduated from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT)
Graduating from Vancouver Film School in 1991, I worked across departments in film, television and commercial productions for years, learning the value of making something with nothing. This devolved into marketing roles with some notable BC technology start-ups (In 2001, Xcert Software sold for $67.5 M USD to RSA Security, Inc.) and defined my career direction forward.
Now, working as a "UX worker" for hire at Cursor Interactive, Inc., I sub-contract digital marketing, media services and web design / development to clients across a number of industries.
